Why capture founder post-mortems

Many "why hasn't someone done this" startup ideas often get recycled - they seem compelling initially, but are difficult to crack in practice. New cohorts of founders would benefit from learning through the failures of their predecessors. Many of the posts here are around Climate Tech because the business models in this space are particularly gnarly — taking comparatively more money and longer timeframes to scale, in addition to regulatory and incentive alignment challenges.

As a former founder and investor in the climate and energy space, I often receive requests to share experiences on what has worked and what hasn't. I wanted to make these learnings, and those of other founders, available to more people, and not just in 1:1 networked conversations.

I'm also interested in broader ways that we can help founders make the most of what they've built during prior failures, and helping them move onto their next adventure. If you're noodling something similar please get in touch!
